In 1982 the Wisconsin Omega Alumni from the 50's held a reunion in Milwaukee where they expressed interest and hope that Nationals would re-colonize Pi Lambda Phi at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, since the chapter had been dissolved in 1967 during the Vietnam War riots.

On October 10, 1983, eleven men pledged to re-establish the Omega Colony with a goal of creating a brotherhood who were ready to work hard in service to the group.

Today, the chapter continues to have a strong presence on campus and continues to hold a strong tradition in scholarship and brotherhood.
